Artificial intelligence, digital transformation and business value

Introduction

Welcome to the survey on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and business value. This survey is part of ongoing research at The Open University of the Netherlands. You can fill in your contact details at the end of this survey. Then, you will be the first to receive our research findings, with a list of managerial implications.

Confidentiality and anonymity 

All obtained data will remain anonymous and confidential and be used only for research purposes. We analyze the data at an aggregate level and will not make any references to an individual or company. The data will always remain accessible to only the study's researchers and will not be distributed to third parties. At any given point, you can ask to revoke your participation in the study, and we will proceed to delete the provided information.

Structure of the survey

The survey structure is as follows: After some background questions, we start with the survey items on AI and big data analytics capabilities and their use in practice. Then various questions on how organizational capabilities follow. This survey continues with questions on business benefits. The final parts of this survey concern questions about environmental turbulence. The principal investigator in this research is dr. Rogier van de Wetering, Associate Professor in Information Systems and Business Processes (rogier.vandewetering@ou.nl).
